In the embedded video, based on “Switch: How to Change Things When Change Is Hard”, I tell the story of Alexandre Behring at Brazilian railroad America Latina Logistica (ALL). He scripted the critical moves to move a whole company in a new direction.
Behring created four rules that guided the decisions that America Latina Logistica employees had to make in the tough moments. As a result, in three years, the company’s performance improved from a net loss of 80 million reais to a new profit of 24 million reais.
